A triangle drawn on a map has sides that measure 15 cm, 8 cm, and 10 cm. The shortest of the corresponding real-life distances is 99 km. Find the longest of the real-life distances.

    The shortest distance on the map is equal to the shortest in real.

    8cm=99km

    The longest distance is the same

    15cm=xkm

    When you turn that into an equation it becomes

    8/99=15/x

    Simplify

    x=185.625 km
