The sum of two numbers is 39. The sum of twice the larger number and three times the smaller number is 93. Find the smaller number.

    Answer:3 * (n + 4) = 93

    3n + 12 = 93

    Subtract 12 to both sides:

    3n = 81

    Divide 3 to both sides:

    n = 27
