    volume of water in the tub = 1320 inches cube

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The large rainwater collection tub is shaped like a cylinder. The diameter is 28 inches and the height is 40 inches.

    volume of cylinder = πr²h

    where

    r = radius

    h = height

    r = diameter/2 = 28/2 = 14 inches

    h = 40 inches

    v = πr²h

    v = 22/7 * 14 * 40

    v = 12320/7

    v = 1760 inches³

    Volume of the large rain collector = 1760 inches³

    The tub is 75 % filled. The volume of water in the tub can be computed below:

    volume of water in the tub = 75/100 * 1760

    volume of water in the tub = 132000 / 100

    volume of water in the tub = 1320 inches cube
