The length of a rectangle is 3 feet longer than the width. The perimeter is 30 feet. Find the length and width of the rectangle.

    The rectangle has a length of 9 and a width of 6. This was found by adding them to get 15 and multiplying by 2 to get the perimeter of 30. Also 9 is 3 more than 6.
