    Answer: 2x+4

    Subtract the equations like so

    f - g = (4x+3) - (2x-1)

    f - g = 4x+3 - 2x + 1 ... distribute the negative to all terms inside parenthesis

    f - g = (4x-2x) + (3+1)

    f - g = 2x + 4
