Two of the angles in a triangle measure 23° and 8°. What is the measure of the third angle?

    The 3 inside angles of a triangle equal 180 degrees.

    You are given 23 and 8 for two of them.

    Subtract the 2 given angles from 180 to find the 3rd angle.

    3rd angle = 180 - 23 - 8 = 149 degrees.
