We know that Simone is going to snowboard tomorrow if the temperature is equal to or colder than 5 degrees Celsius. Equal to or colder basically means less than or equal to. The sign for that is ≤. Since we know that t is less than or equal to 5 degrees Celsius, we can substitute the ≤ sign for less than or equal to, giving us our inequality of t ≤ 5.
