    So, first we have to find the width.

    Area of a rectangle = length * width

    54 = 9 * width

    width = 6cm

    Now we can plug this into the perimeter formula.

    2w + 2l = P

    P = 2 (6) + 2 (9)

    P = 12 + 18

    P = 40
