There were 35 students in a class. They were given math books (each priced at $0.55) and other books the total value of which was n dollars. How much money was spent to provide the students with all these books?

    if i read it right it should be 19 dollars and 25 cents

    Ok so for each book is $0.55 and there's 35 kids and we don't know exactly how many other books so that's wear N comes in.

    We know there's at least 35 books meaning

    35*$0.55 = $19.25 N
