    initial velocity (u) = 6

    final velocity (v) = 12

    time (t) = 1s

    acc (a) = ?

    v = u + at

    12 = 6 + (1 x a)

    12-6 = 1a

    6 = 1a

    6/1 = a = 6m/s squared
