A quarter is dropped from a building and modeled by the equation h=-16t^2+1250. How long does it take to strike a 6 foot tall person?

    You need to find what is t when h = 6.

    Try.

    6 = - 16t^2 + 1250

    1244 = 16t^2

    77.75 = t^2

    t = 8.818
