If 2 alternate exterior angles of parallel lines are 4x+78 and 13x-49, what does x equal?

    Alternate exterior angles are equal.

    4x+78 = 13x - 49

    Subtract 4x from both sides

    78 = 9x-49

    Add 49 to both sides

    127=9x

    Divide both sides by 9

    X=14.1
