    You would start off with x=the total number of hours she works

    320+3x=440

    320-320+3x=440-320

    3x=120

    3x/3=120/3

    x=40

    He worked 40 hours at each job

    y=hourly wage at the mall

    40y=320

    40y/40=320/40

    y=8

    Solution: The hourly wage at the mall would be $8
