A large bathtub contains of 425 gallons of water after five minutes of draining it has lost 32% of the volume of water what percent of the water remains in the tub after five minutes explain your reasoning

    In other to know what 289 gallons of water after draining is in percentage =

    (Number of gallons left in the bathtub after draining for 5 mins : Total number of gallons of water initially present in bathtub) * 100%

    = (289:425) * 100%

    = 68%

    Hence, the percent of the water remains in the tub after five minutes is 68%.
