at a store, 3 pounds of tomatoes cost $7.47. Based o that rate, how much will 6 pounds of tomatoes cost?

    It would $14.94 because you have to add 7.47 since that is 3 pounds and you need so add 7.47 + 7.47 and you get $14.94
