Simplify 5 - 2 · 3 + 4.

    Using the order of operation you would multiply first so

    2 · 3 = 6

    5 - 6 + 4 then we would subtract

    5 - 6 = - 1

    -1 + 4 = 3 as your answer.

    5 - (2) (3) + 4=3
