    Chips Defective Chips

    Al chips 4 %

    Total production per day 50.999 4 %

    Randon sample sold 100 4 %

% defectives should be = % total production

    Defectives expected in sample is 4% of 100 = 4 x 100 / 100 = 4

Chance of 2 defective chips 1
