the perimeter of a pool is 250 feet. the length is 25 feet less than twice its width. find th width in feet.

    L = 2W - 25

    Perimeter = 2L + 2W

    250 = 2W + 2 (2W - 25)

    6W - 50 = 250

    W = 300/6

    W = 50 feet answer
