    Let the numbers be x-1, x+1

    (x-1) (x+1) = 111+3 (x-1+x+1)

    x^2-1=111+6x

    x^2-6x-112=0

    x^2-14x+8x-112=0

    x (x-14) + 8 (x-14) = 0

    (x-14) (x+8) = 0

    x=14,-8

    numbers are 14-1,14+1 or 13,15

    when x=-8

    numbers are - 8-1,-8+1 or - 9,-7
