    100

    Step-by-step explanation:

    take the words 5 more or plus 5+, than twice (2) a number or the amount the old machine can use (x). put it together to get 5+2x now the new one can produce 205 copies total. we use total as equal so, 5+2x=205, subtract 5 on both sides. 2x=200 and divide by 2 to both sides. x=100

    The old machine can produce 100 copies/hour

    Step-by-step explanation:

    x = number the old machine can produce per hour

    2x+5=205

    2x=200

    x=100
