im not exactly sure what you mean, but i believe youre saying if you distribute something, whats the next step. it depends on whats being done. if youre variable (usually x or y) is multiplying with a number, then you divde. if it is dividing, you multiply. Ex) 10x=50. you would divide 50 by 10, to get x=5
