Solve the system by the elimination method.

x - 3y = 0

3y - 6 = 2x

{ (-6, - 1/2) }

{ (-6, - 2) }

{ (-2, - 6) }

    (-3y+x=0) + (3y-2x=6)

    -x=6

    x=-6

    Plug x back in

    -6-3y=0

    -3y=6

    y=-2

    Your solution is (-6,-2)
