    I don't know if this is right but here is what I did.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    6x+26x-10=8 (4x+10)

    distribute 8 into the parenthesis.

    -> 6x+26x-10=32x+80

    add 10 to both sides in order to cancel it out from the left side.

    -> 6x+26x=32x+90

    6x and 26x are common factors. So, we add them.

    -> 32x=32x+90

    subtract 32x from right side to leave 90 alone.

    -> x=90.

    Let me know if this is right?
