Convert the fraction to a decimal, then multiply by
100.
Convert to decimal
1/3=0.3 (put the little line on top of 3 to show continues all 3)
Multiply decimal by 100
0.3 * 100 (put the little line on top of 3 of the 0.3 to show continues all 3)
Then simplify
33.3% (put the little line on top of the last 3 to show continues all 3)

You would do this
1:3=0.3333333333
then
0.3333333333 * 100 = 33.33333333
and the answer is
33.33333333%
