    x = 2

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given

    2.5 (6x-4) = 10 + 4 (1.5+0.5x)

    First of all we will have to solve the parenthesis

    (2.5) (6x) - (2.5) (4) = 10 + (4) (1.5) + (4) (0.5x)

    15x-10 = 10+6+2x

    We have to isolate x so that we can find its value

    15x-10 = 16+2x

    15x = 16+2x+10

    15x-2x = 26

    13x = 26

    13x/13 = 26/13

    x = 2 ...
