    So the perimeter is equal to the sum of all the sides.

    Let's call X the length of side one and side 2, and side 3 is equal to x+1.

    So,

    P = S1 + S2 + S3

    5.5 = X + X + (X+1)

    5.5 = 3x+1

    4.5 = 3x

    1.5 = x

    So, the sides' lengths are 1.5, 1.5, and 2.5
