Step One
Use Foil
F (first) : m * m = m^2
O (Outside: m*2 = 2m These first two ms are the first one in each bracket.
I (Inside) : - 5 * m = - 5m
L (last) : - 5 * 2 = - 10
Step Two
Add the terms together.
m^2 + 2m - 5m - 10 Collect the like terms. (The middle 2 terms)
m^2 - 3m - 10
