Use a reference triangle to find the exact value of the expression: tan (sin-1 3/5)

    If you set up the triangle using the sin 3/5, across from your reference angle is the side 3 and the hypotenuse is 5 because sin is opposite over hypotenuse. Find the missing side using Pythagorean's Theorem. It's 4. Now find the tangent of that reference angle, side opposite over side adjacent is 3/4. So the exact value is 3/4.
