The answer would be 0.09 because if you divide something into one hundred equal parts, nine hundredths is 9 of those parts that you just divided up.
Since nine hundredths is 9 over one hundred, nine hundredths as a fraction is 9/100.
If you divide 9 by one hundred you get 9 hundredths as a decimal which is 0.09.
