In a recent snail race the winning snail traveled 5.83 cm in 3/2 of a minute. How fast was the snail traveling in centmeyer per minut

    First you convert both values into the same unit, either decimal or fraction. After you've done that you divide the number of minutes by itself and do the same for centimeters. At tye end, your steps should look like this on paper:

    1) 3/2 divided by 3/2

    2) 5.83 divided by 3/2

    3) 3.8866666667 cm per minute
