Will the opposite of a positive number always sometimes or never be a positive number

    The opposite of a positive number is a negative number and a negative number can never be positive and negative at the same time.

    Opposite of a positive number will sometimes always be positive because if you say positive times positive will be a positive or if you say positive times a negative the bigger number has to be positive in order to work
