Prove that the sum of 3 consecutive numbers is always a multiple of 3

    Proof:

    3 consecutive integers are x, x+1, x+2.

    Add these values.

    x+x+1+x+2

    3x+3

    3 * (x+1)

    3 (x+1) is the multiple of 3 for any integer value of x.
