Water in a swimming pool is treated with two chemical mixed. In a ration of 5:4. The total volume of the chemicals is 48 litres. How much of each chemical is used?

    5:4 is equal to 26.6 : 21.3 respectively which I found by dividing 48 by 9 and then multiplying by 5 and 4.
