A right cylinder has a base area of 169π cm2. Its height is half the radius. Identify the lateral area and the surface area of the cylinder.

    Circumference of the base = 2πr=16π cm. Radius of cylinder = r16π2π=8 cm ... Lateral Surface area = LSA=2πrh=16π⋅4=64π≈201.1 cm2.
