    LCM of 4 and 10 is 20

    Step-by-step explanation:

    TO Find the LCM or Least Common Multiple we have to factor the numbers into smallest possible values bu using prime Numbers

    (prime Numbers are 2,3,5,7, ...)

    factorization of numbers are

    4 = 2 * 2

    10 = 2 * 5

    Now

    Common factor between 4 and 10 is 2

    Common factor will be written once because it is common in between both so

    LCM = 2 * 2 * 5

    (one two was common in both and on two was only in factor of 4 and not in 10)

    so

    multiplying gives

    LCM = 20
