Parabolas can shift up and down or left to right

Parabolas shifting left and right uses the formula of y = (x-a) ^2 where a determined the amount it shifts.

    E. g. y = (x-3) ^2 moves right three units but if it was a + 3 instead of - 3, it moves three units to the left.

When parabolas move up or down, it uses y=mx^2+b (where b determines the amount it shifts)

If it is + 10, it moves ten units above but if it is - 10 it moves ten units down
