    3x + 2y = 4

    2x - y = 5 times second equation by 2

    4x-2y=10

    adding equation 1 and new equation

    7x=14

    x=2

    put in eq 1

    3 (2) + 2y=4

    6+2y=4

    2y=-2

    y=-1

    option b is right
