    H is 2.2cm.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    A pentagon is a polygon with 5 sides. If all the sides are equal it is a regular polygon otherwise it is Irregular.

    The Perimeter of the given pentagon = 10.5cm

    Four sides of Length Hcm are equal

    The length of the fifth side = 1.7cm

    Therefore: The sum of all the sides = 4H+1.7

    4H+1.7=10.5

    4H=10.5-1.7

    4H=8.8

    Divide both sides by 4

    H=2.2 cm

    The value of H is 2.2cm.

    Answer: 2.2cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    A pentagon has 5 sides.

    To get the perimeter of the Pentagon, all it's five sides are added together.

    From the question, the perimeter of a the Pentagon is 10.5 cm.

    Four sides are denoted by H

    The fifth side is 1.7cm.

    Since 4 sides are denoted by H, we multiply 4 by H.

    4 * h = 4h

    Perimeter = 4h + 1.7

    4h + 1.7 = 10.5

    4h = 10.5 - 1.7

    4h = 8.8

    Divide both side by 4

    4h/4 = 8.8/4

    h = 2.2

    The value of each of the four sides of the Pentagon are 2.2cm each.
