Find the inverse of the function f (x) = x౩+1

Is this f (x) = x³+1 or f (x) = 3x+1?

Edit: Okay, well f (x) = x³+1 is basically the same as saying y=x³+1. To find the inverse, you would need to take the cube root of x so its y=∛ (x-1).

I am pretty sure this is correct but this is one of the more confusing ones. This is the best answer I could get
