Explanation
7 + (1/3+2/9) + (7/4-5/12)
(1/3+2/9) = 3/9 + 2/9 = 5/9 = 5/9
(7/4-5/12) = 21/12 - 5/12 = 16/12 = 4/3
Now you have
7 + 2/3 + 13/6 = 7 + (5/9 + 4/3)
= 7 + 17/9
= 7 + 1 8/9
= 8 8/9 or 80/9
