If f (x) = 3 * + 10x and g (x) = 5x - 3, find (f-9) (x)

    In the equation f (x) = 3 * + 10x is the 3 squared?

    If it is supposed to be squared then the answer is f (-9) = - 81

    If its not supposed to be squared then the answer is f (-9) = - 87
