3x+y=13 5x-2y=18 Substition method

    So for the first one you would do 3 (4) + 1=13 because 3 (4) = 12 12+1=13

    For the second one it will be 5 (4) - 2 (1) = 18 because 5 (4) = 20 and 2 (1) = 2 and 20-2=18
