That would become $287,448
If the cents value was over 50 cents, then you would round the ones place up one to 9. But since 12 cents is less than 50 cents, you round down to 8 (from 8.12)

since is the nearest dollar the. 12 means cent so u could take it off and since u cant round it because each none of it is greater than 5 so the answer is $247,448
