    5/12

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Total chocolate=12

    White=3

    Milk=4

    Dark=x

    White+milk+dark=3+4+x

    =7+x

    12=7+x

    x=12-7

    x=5

    Therefore,

    Dark=5

    Probability that Lily first chooses a dark chocolate from the box = No. Of dark chocolate/Total no. Of chocolate

    =5/12
