    Bruce does have enough money to buy the video game.

    x/42 = 30/100

    x=12.60 - This is the amount of money the video game is without tax

    x/12.60 = 5/100

    x=0.63 - sales tax amount

    0.63+12.60=13.23 - amount of video game with tax
