A rectangle has a width of 49cm and a perimeter of 218cm. What is the rectangle's length?

    218 - 49 - 49 = 2l

    128 = 2l

    128/2 = 2l/2

    64 = l

    THe length is 64 because of teh algebraic method, l is the length, 49 is the width (2 of them) and 218 is the perimeter.
