Laurie has a rectangular garden that is 5 feet wide and 7 feet long. Matt has a square garden that is 6 feet on each side. Who has more area in their garden?

    Matt does by 1 foot

    to find area you do length x width and in this case

    Laurie's garden = 5x7 = 35

    Matt's garden = 6*6=36
