A scale model of a statue is 7 inches tall. The scale of the model is lin/1.5 ft. What is the actual height of the statue?

    If the scale of the model is 1 in./1.5 ft., and 1.5 ft is 18 inches, then the actual height of the statue is 7 (18) = 126 inches, or 10.5 feet
