baker 72 vanilla cupcakes and 80 chocolate cupcskes. she wants to make platters thst have both kinds of cupcskes snd she wants to have same number of each kind on each platter. can she make 10 platters of cupcakes with no cupcakes left over

    Here's why: if you have 10 platters, 80 chocolate cupcakes and 72 vanilla cupcakes. Your goal is to put the same number of vanilla cupcakes and the same number of chocolate cupcakes on each platter. 80 : 10 = 8 chocolate cupcakes per platter. 72 : 10 = 7.2 vanilla cupcakes per platter, and assuming you don't want to cut up to cupcakes into fifths, you'll have 2 vanilla cupcakes left over.
