We can factor out log (18) using 2 and 3.

log (18) = log (2 * 3^2)

Rewrite it using the Product Rule [ log (xy) = log (x) + log (y) ].

log (2 * 3^2) = log (2) + 2 log (3)

Now, solve using the given values.

0.3010 + 2 (0.4771)

0.3010 + 0.9542

1.2552

Therefore, log (18) = 1.2552
